Parameters
The HI5522 is a research grade bench-top instrument that features eight measurement ranges: pH, ORP (oxidation reduction potential) or ISE plus temperature on 1 channel, conductivity, resistivity, TDS (Total Dissolved solids) or salinity on the other channel.
Ion Selective Electrode (ISE)
Potentiometric ion analyses with ion-selective electrodes (ISEs) are mostly performed by widely used method, direct potentiometry method. This method is highly effective when the user must quickly measure large batches of samples at varying concentrations. Direct reading of the concentration of samples can be done after calibrating of the multiparameter meter with two or more standards. Ionic strength adjustments are made to both sample and standards. A quick and simple way to detect on preparing the standards can be done here. Various ISEs consist of below:
- Ammonia
- Bromide
- Cadmium
- Calcium
- Carbon Dioxide
- Chloride
- Cupric (Copper)
- Cyanide
- Fluoride
- Iodide
- Lead/Sulfate
- Nitrate
- Potassium
- Silver/Sulfide
- Sodium
